Kybella is a non-surgical injectable treatment specifically designed to reduce submental fat, commonly known as a double chin. The active ingredient in Kybella is deoxycholic acid, a substance naturally produced by the body that helps break down and absorb dietary fat. The treatment process involves a series of injections administered by a trained healthcare provider, with multiple sessions typically required for optimal results, usually spaced about a month apart.
